Italwin’s K2 MAX sells out immediately after market launch

A few weeks after its launch on the market in May 2020, K2 MAX seemed to win over many Italians as the entire annual availability was sold. With easy climbing and enjoyable riding, K2 MAX is the first 20” folding FAT bike with a powerful FIVE F90 central motor.

Italwin K2 MAX is part of the new 2020 range, produced in the innovative FIVE (Fabbrica Italiana Veicoli Elettrici) plant in Bologna, and it is an electric bicycle, one of a kind, with cutting-edge technology.

Powerful and quiet engine Italwin’s K2 MAX is equipped with an extremely quiet and powerful FIVE F90 engine: its central position, instead of in the rear hub, as usually mounted in e-MTBs, and the combination with the 20″ wheel, guarantees extremely efficient torque, able to tackle challenging climbs with slopes of up to 30%.

Suitable for every track Italwin’s K2 MAX is fitted with tires for the benefit of the rider’s comfort: the 4″ tread, on 20″ rims, has a wide footprint. It is knobbly for excellent adherence and suitable for different road surfaces. Together with the suspended and lockable fork, the ride is balanced and also fun.

Safety and range Excellent road holding, K2 MAX is equipped with responsive and safe hydraulic disc brakes. The 10.5Ah – 36V battery is our flagship: fully integrated into the frame, it is produced in Italy in FIVE – Fabbrica Italiana Veicoli Elettrici – in Bologna and moreover it is endowed with Samsung cells. The maximum range, readable on the useful 3.5″ backlight LCD, reaches 80 km.

Made in Italy product Strictly mud-gray, K2 MAX shows itself with colors and graphics designed to please a young and dynamic audience. The design and the water-based painting of the frame are made in Italy, in the FIVE factory in Bologna.

The restart of the production of K2 MAX is scheduled for March 2021: dealers can already now pre-order the model to have it in stock in view of the next distribution on the market. This article was sponsored by FIVE.
